Manaaki Putea Komiti

This committee is:

• Responsible for exploring potential fundraising and investment opportunities for the Marae.
• Independent of the Trustees committee.
• Directly responsible to the Trustees committee.

This committees duties are to:

• Assist with the establishment of operational budgets for the Kaumatua/Kuia, Trustees, Secretariat, Manāki Tangata / Whenua, Manāki Whare, Manāki Korero, Manāki Take Kaupapa, and Manāki Pūtea committees
• Assist with the drafting of business cases, application proposals, etc to secure prioritised budgets
• Co-ordinate brokerage meetings with potential investors, eg, ASB Trust, Department of Internal Affairs, Te Puni Kokiri, Te Wānanga o Awanuiārangi etc
• Investigate appropriate investment, and fundraising opportunities and make written recommendations to the Trustees
• Assist with the production of accountability reports

This committee meets as required and provides a monthly written report on activities
