Manaaki Tangata Whenua Komiti

This committee is: 

• Responsible for the day-to-day Marae operation
• Independent of the Trustee’s committee
• Directly responsible to the Trustee’s committee

This committee’s duties are to: 

• Take bookings for the Marae
• Prepare the Marae for all hui
• Organise catering, provisions, and cleaning of the Marae, note that the users of the Marae are responsible for these tasks when engaged for a function
• Maintain the Marae grounds and facilities in a clean and tidy condition
• Operate and maintain a separate credit account for the purpose of paying expenses due for the day-to-day functions of the Marae  

This committee shall meet as required and provide a monthly written report on activities and financial transactions to the Trustee’s meeting. Perform such other functions as agreed upon with the Trustees.
